500 people per line

An interesting art project by artist Clement Valla (Clement Valla). Within the framework of the project, 500 people were to repeat the line drawn by the previous participant on the screen.



In addition to beautiful pictures, it is also an excellent demonstration of how errors are multiplied when transmitting information without a CRC (for example, when rumors are spread), especially if there are trolls in the chain.

Participants were found through the Mechanical Turk crowdsourcing service (each received 2 cents for drawing a line).
