Everybody is dancing!
So, we have just completed the formation of
images and finally
released Debian GNU 6.0 "Squeeze", as usual, many architectures are available, including:
- amd64
- armel
- kfreebsd-i386
- kfreebsd-amd64
- i386
- ia64
- mips
- mipsel
- powerpc
- sparc
- s390
Unfortunately, the arm architecture is no longer supported, but it will most certainly be unofficial.
Among the most significant innovations I can note the emergence of the ability to use the FreeBSD kernel and a completely free kernel, from which the blobs are allocated into separate packages. In addition, the backports.org repository has received official status and is now available at backports.debian.org.
FRT: as it turned out, live drives for i386 and amd64 architectures also received
official status .
