First, however, only in the United States, and then, if the service justifies itself, then in other countries. Generally speaking, the question / answer service sooner or later acquires any more or less large social Internet service. True, not everyone succeeds in popularizing their service - after all, even Google has closed off the official support for its “questions / answers” in 2006. After that, the new service “Answers” was opened, operating in several countries. But again, in the same Poland, the new service no longer works, because it could not get the desired degree of popularity.
Of course, from Facebook you can expect a truly popular service of this format - because where, if not in a social network, ask questions and get answers to them, right? Perhaps it is the Facebook service that will be recognized by users. Perhaps Facebook will come up with something original, to attract attention to the new functionality of the social network.

Besides Google, by the way, Microsoft tried to launch a service of the same format, which also failed. A few years after opening, in 2009, the service died, which was the official message.
Of course, Facebook is afraid to have something - very few such services, the format of "Question / Answer", received a valid recognition of users. There are successful and unsuccessful examples in the Russian segment of the Internet. In addition to foreign services, there were also attempts by domestic companies to launch all this for the benefit of their users. In principle, the “questionnaire” from mail.ru is still working, and very successfully.
But Yandex didn’t grow together - the service was launched quite recently, in 2009, and after a short time, Yandex abandoned its creation, and now only information sources have been left on the
ask.yandex.ru domain, which can then help the visitor.
In general, we will wait for the appearance of
facebook.com/questions/ , and watch what comes out of this undertaking. Personally, it seems to me that the service will be popular, because with so many Facebook users, some part will definitely pay attention to “Questions”. What do you think?
