Creative Commons licenses are adapted in the first country of the former USSR - Estonia

image Jokes, of course, lie. Estonians were the very first of the former USSR countries to adapt Creative Commons licenses to local law.

Here are the people who brought CC to Estonia:
Head of the Ene Koitla project from the Estonian Information Technology Foundation (EITF) with a legal team including Hele Karja, Heiki Pisuke, Priit Lätt and Triin Tuulik ja Merit Lind from Glimstedt Straus & Partners and Mario Rosentau from the University of Tartu, Peeter P. Mõtsküla and Kaido Kikkas from Estonian Information Technology College.
