I love movies and watch quite a lot of movies. And I had a need for a long time to conveniently catalog them. For a long time, I did this with the help of
Imkhonet , that is, I evaluated each of the films I watched and set the date for viewing. It’s made quite inconvenient there: firstly, everything is tied to estimates (and you don’t always want to give an assessment), secondly, you cannot add information about film revisions, and generally very useful (for me) functionality, but a lot of unnecessary.
Therefore, I decided to make my own service, which would allow me to keep a complete history of watching movies and would show any interesting statistics. I am a big fan of
Last.fm , and I really like the principle of its work: when all the music you listen to is saved and laid out on the shelves. And I thought it would be interesting to do something similar for films.
This resulted from a small site called “
yourfilms.org ”. Here is the main thing that he can do: collects films that a user watches, and, by analogy with Last.fm, generates cast and director charts. It looks like this:

In addition, you can see which particular films are hidden behind inscriptions like “6 views”, when they were viewed, how many times, and much more: more about this in the
description on the site .
There are estimates, and if you use them, they will also be shown in all sorts of statistics. But, of course, there are no recommendations and everything else, for which there are already a huge number of services.
There is no registration on the site, you can log in using OpenID or using a Facebook account.
Any comments and any criticism are welcome.
I understand that such a service is unlikely to be of interest to a large number of people, and I did it mostly for myself. But if he will be useful to someone else - I will be glad.
