Mozilla has announced the release of the fourth mobile beta of Firefox 4 (Fennec) for the Nokia N900 on Maemo and various devices on Android 2.0 and above.
Firefox 4 beta 4 for Android and Maemo adds support for restarting add-ons, improves startup speed and JavaScript performance, and reduces processor and memory usage. In addition, more than 100 Firefox mobile add-ons are currently available.

As for the performance of JavaScript, then, according to the developers, Firefox 4 beta is faster than the standard Android browser: about three times in Kraken, almost twice in SunSpider and a bit faster in V8.
For Android, some keyboard-related bugs have been fixed and tablet support such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab has been improved. Also improved the user interface of Firefox Sync.
