Moving to a new company is always an interesting new experience.

I want to share my impressions about the transition from the Moldovan company Emoney to the Russian Rupay. First, the Rupay software is quite different from Emoney. I had to make a lot of effort to bring the system to a new level.

As in Russia, and in Moldova there is practically no legislative regulation of electronic payments. Approximately by 2008, legislation in this area should be formed in Russia. Round tables were held, but so far the problem is real, and its solution is stalled. In Moldova, everything is easier. There is not so tightly regulated. Russia has more bureaucratic devices that want to control this area of activity.

As for employees, in Russia, probably, the overall level of IT workers is higher. But the problem in both countries is the same: lack of first-class specialists.

About the market. Emoney was the only online payment company in Moldova. In Russia, many of them. Competition, respectively, more. And incentives to develop too! :)

The technologies are about the same. The levels of protection are different. Arranged protection in different ways. But the degree of security does not vary greatly from company to company.

Probably the main surprise was that I very quickly worked together with the team. Everything went smoothly. Draco was not! :) Sharing powers too. This is incredibly pleased!
What is your experience of changing jobs?
