Google launched a website with painting

Google today opened the new Google Art Project website, created in conjunction with the 17 largest museums around the world (including the Hermitage and the Tretyakov Gallery). It presents part of the paintings of these museums in high resolution (and one picture from each museum was digitized altogether with a resolution of 7000 megapixels), and also gives the opportunity to “walk” between the pictures in separate rooms of museums using Google Street View. In the future, an increase in the number of partner museums is planned.
