Experiment with Augmented Reality, multitouch and Vuzix glasses
We continue to conduct experiments with augmented reality in our office. This time we decided to combine Multitouch , D'Fusion and Vuzix glasses.
From the multitouch table, commands are sent via the socket server to the D'Fusion script, which displays the image on Vuzix 920VR glasses with a camera. As a result of this, we observe in video glasses a stream with 3D superimposed on it, tied to the interface image on the table. ')
In this example, the simplest actions to control a three-dimensional object are implemented: twist the helicopter, assemble-disassemble, change the height of the helicopter above the table. Plans to add more gestures and connect Kinect. This will allow 3D to be controlled not only in the plane of the table, but also directly in the air.
Many thanks to the guys from Supreme for providing the multitouch table.
