In our first article on Habrahabr, we want to introduce you to our company. We will not go into technical details for now, as information about the hardware and network infrastructure, as well as a detailed description of our products and services will be the topics of the following posts. Now let's just describe who we are and what our uniqueness is.

ColoBridge is the first independent German hosting and data center operator focused on the Russian-speaking market segment. The company's office is located in the capital of the European Internet - Frankfurt am Main. Our goal is to provide truly high-quality hosting and colocation services in Germany on the Russian market.

What is our uniqueness?

From the German providers we are distinguished by the following:

• Russia, Ukraine and Belarus are our main markets;
• the entire staff of the company is fluent in Russian;
• we know perfectly well what is the act of accepting services, invoice and contract in Russian;
• WebMoney, Yandex-Money and payment terminals are for us the normal means of payment, along with non-cash payment, PayPal and Visa card;
• “Call me back ...” is the standard situation for us;
• we remember that our difference with Moscow is 2 hours, and with Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - 11 hours.

Our main difference from resellers of German providers is that we are not resellers . This means that it is our technician who is on duty at the data center, our customers' equipment is installed on our racks and your resources are located on our own servers. We are the closing link, not the “clipboard”. This allows us to respond quickly in all situations and be flexible in considering the needs of each client. The key to effective work of the company is to conduct business according to the rules of the European market, taking into account the specifics of our target audience.

Products and attitudes

Today we offer two groups of products: virtual servers based on OpenVZ and Colocation . At the final stage of testing are VPS based on the XEN hybrid hypervisor, which is planned to be released next month.

Our philosophy is very simple: to offer only products and services that we ourselves know, understand and can without doubt use for our own projects. Guided by this principle, we do not offer “unlimited traffic” or any other unlimited resources, but we guarantee what is written in our tariffs. We do not have “bulky” solutions, however any serious project will find a reliable basis on our sites. Turning to us, you get a quality hosting.
