At the Le Bourget Air Show, the Boeing Company successfully demonstrated an autonomous unmanned helicopter A160T Hummingbird (“hummingbird”). He flew for 12 minutes, during which he completed all the scheduled tests. The length of the device is about 10 m, the same diameter of the main rotor. It flies at a speed of 260 km / h at altitudes of up to 10 km.
The main feature of such an apparatus (robot) is the absence of flight personnel, the preparation of which is often commensurate with the cost of the helicopter.
