Well, in less than a few days, Cisco sued Apple for illegal use of the iPhone trademark. Cisco has owned a registered iPhone trademark since 2000, when it bought InfoGear Technology Corp., which initially registered the name on itself.
Cisco Vice President Mark Chandler: “If there is an iPhone today, this doesn’t mean that there will be an iPhone tomorrow.”
