British policemen catch Anonymus

Moreover, it is not entirely clear what purpose such a "catching" carries. It is clear that there are many thousands of Anonymus, but only five people were caught in addition to the previous group of people caught. The most interesting thing is that the capture of such terrible violators was carried out with the support of the American police, who provided the British with all the necessary data, including IP and other identifiers. Caught allegedly participated in a DDoS campaign organized by Anonimus against Amazon, Visa and Mastercard sites. Anonymus avenged the refusal of Amazon to provide hosting services to Wikileaks, and to payment systems for blocking the ways of receiving voluntary contributions to the Wikileaks account.

So, for the sins of the entire group of Anonymus will pay five caught "hackers", 15, 16, 19, 20 and 26 years, respectively. The guys were detained in different parts of the country as a result of "coordinated actions of the team of British and American police." Yeah, an extremely complex operation, which probably took more money to accomplish than Amazon, Visa and Mastercard lost as a result of a DDoS attack (as I recall, companies were practically not financially injured, as the attack was not particularly successful).

Apparently, the brave law enforcement officers decided to show all the other members of the Anonymus group what would happen if they continue to act in a similar way, firing from the “ion gun” at the servers of various companies. By the way, according to the laws of Great Britain, the imprisonment of up to 10 years (!) Plus a fine of 8 thousand dollars (5 thousand pounds sterling) can threaten the violator for the implementation of “prohibited actions against computers and computer networks”. Apparently, law enforcement officers are very determined, and are going to punish the "hackers."

By the way, this month the same group of Anonymus attacked the sites of the Tunisian government. I wonder if the participants of this action will now be sought by the joint forces of the Egyptian police and their colleagues in other countries?

British law enforcement officials have already announced that they consider their action very successful. Let's hope that none of those caught prison sentence "not soldered."
