Sony will provide games for the entire Android platform

It has long been known that SonyEricsson plans to release the PlayStation Phone androidphone, designed for gamers. However, today Sony, in addition to the new console , made another loud announcement: the PlayStation Suite framework, which should become a game center not only for the PlayStation Phone, but also for other Android devices (both smartphones and tablets). The company will cooperate with device manufacturers, granting the right to sell those of them, whose hardware is at the proper level, with the PlayStation®Certified logo, and will also sell games through a special PlayStation Store. In the near future, games will be ported to the first platform from the first PlayStation, and later they plan to make new games simultaneously compatible with both PlayStation Certified devices and the Next Generation Portable console.

For a long time it was believed that Android is much less suitable for powerful games than iOS (far less fragmented) and WP7 (which comes with Xbox integration). Now that Android has support for Sony, the gaming giant, this may change.
