Are you ready to ride the Harley?

If so, hurry up!
To do this, you will not have to go to a car dealership or print out drawings for self-assembly of a valid motorcycle model in full size, you just need to follow the link , giving a chance with your brains and hands to earn this dream of many generations.
A fairly well-known specialist among specialists is a supplier of a wide range of electronic components, EBV-Electronik, together with the manufacturer ST, are holding a competition for the best amateur design based on the STM32 processor.
“Eka Nevidal - these contests on the Internet are now like mud, and even Boeing can promise as a prize,” skeptics will note. And I agree with them, in general, I agree, if it were not for one small subtlety ...

As you know, a bird in the hand is better than a duck under the bed, and the organizers of the competition fully share this opinion. Therefore, everyone who registered his project gets ... PA-PAAAAMMM !!! .. completely free demo board with a microcontroller STM32F100RBT6B on board (which is 128 K flash plus 8 K RAM) built into the USB-JTAG board (approximately 40-60 dollars when you buy a separate board) and 62 feet on the edge of the board, allowing you to use the rather popular now solderless breadboards.

Having learned about this contest shortly before the New Year, I was skeptical at first. Alas, last year I was painfully “thrown” by TI with my Stellaris contest, where I managed to register, write software, solder a small fee with the necessary electronics in anticipation of the necessary processor, and then find out that according to state laws in underdeveloped countries like Zimbabwe , Russia, Ukraine, Somalia, etc. It is forbidden to send high-tech products so that the aborigines are not distracted from picking coconuts. Nevertheless, I went through a fairly simple registration procedure and prepared for a long and meaningless wait.

But this time I was in for a pleasant surprise:

Inside the envelope was a flyer and a neat blister with a card - the packaging is strong enough not to fear for the integrity of the card during the delivery process:

The board itself looks quite neat. Even if it was Chinese, it was the right Chinese who knew what end of the soldering iron it was necessary to take:

An interesting solution with conclusions - you can stick both in solderless and on top of the wiring or even entire boards to solder:

')
For the initial acquaintance with all the features of the board, the organizers of the competition suggest visiting the site with a description of this board, downloading and digging in some test projects. And there is something to look at, for the processor is very fat :

I hope that one of us will be lucky and that one of the habrayers who will win Harley (if it's not me) will give me a steer in gratitude for the hint? :)
In the meantime, for work, a soldering iron and a debager are waiting for us. It is much better to program for an advanced automated workplace than to waste your precious time on a dull and ancient, like mammoth shit, arduino (no offense, I myself once played with Atmela until I was convinced that it was a very weak, “toy” chip)
And at the end - traditionally pretentious wish before any contest: “Let the strongest win!”
Successes!

Upd: Since I am more of an electronics engineer than a programmer, I invite someone from Kiev to jointly implement my idea. With me iron, with you software, Harley in half :) Write in a personal.
