Social sites ... new, fashionable, but why?
So, risking this very “karma”, I want to share my opinion, and listen to the opinions of people (as an option) more knowledgeable.
I am a LJ user since the immemorial of some year. With the primary invite from LJ-celebrity, and other innocent fetishes, valuable, however, only within the site. Came to "read and watch," remained "to speak and show." Everything is relatively simple and clear.
Recently (in need of a certain project) I began to study existing social networks. Myspace, bebo, friendster, facebook and xanga came into view. I do not consider myself to be patriotic lj (as, incidentally, to any patriots in general), and nevertheless I cannot fail to note that all the networks listed above, unlike LJ, are either meaningless or have a deep, incomprehensible meaning that is inaccessible to me.
What is the thing to get yourself a disgusting page on myspace, and (at the peak of perversion) to equip it with a self-made code, bringing the whole mess to complete abomination? How are strange "friends" added? The crap, which is written in the comments, seems to be taken from some kind of dope generator with a limited number of options, so they are similar.
Facebook is admittedly “better.” Very dubious and easily achievable merit. The same garbage, miserable and ugly. The rest differ only in additional far-fetched functions and jokes worthy of the rebellious ghosts of “Pupkinsky hamsters” with narod.ru
I ask myself questions: why all this? What exactly did I misunderstand?
Is someone ready to interpret?
