In the past few days
there have been rumors of a new project called “Music Bay”.
Four years ago, the Pirate Bay team registered the domain name themusicbay.org. It was planned to place on it the most effective system of music exchange ever created, however, due to the employment of other projects, these plans were postponed.
The other day there was information that the domain of "Musical Bay" will eventually be used. He is currently redirecting to the Pirate Bay, but this spring there may be a big surprise for the music industry.
“The music industry cannot even imagine what we are planning to launch in the coming months. For many years they have complained bitterly about piracy, but if they have ever had reason to be afraid of it, then it is now, ”the Pirate Bay insider told the TorrentFreak project. "It will be a surprise for the
78th birthday of the IFPI, and we are thinking about organizing a big festival in Rome, where the IFPI was founded."
')
IFPI is, of course, the
International Federation of the Phonographic Industry Manufacturers (
International Federation of the Phonographic Industry ), one of the most active anti-piracy organizations and a long-time opponent of Pirate Bay. The federation created by the Italian fascist government of Benito Mussolini will be 78 years old in April 2011.
About the project itself so far virtually nothing is known, but the music industry already clearly has something to fear.
