Tesla Motors develops new versions of electric vehicles

Soon, cheaper, and even more efficient (and spectacular, too) electric cars from Tesla may appear. Such a statement was passed by the head of the company Elon Max, who promised this year to present a new type of electric vehicle Tesla Model X. True, only a prototype of this model will be presented, but already quite working, and not rendered in any graphic editor of the model. Of particular interest is the promise in 2012 to introduce another new electric car, which does not even have a working name yet. But the project price is known, at which such electric car will be sold - 30 thousand dollars.

At the moment, Tesla S is offered at a price of 57 thousand dollars, and Tesla Roadster - at a price of 110 thousand dollars. Such a price, of course, is quite a significant obstacle for the mass distribution of the electric car. We will not even talk about the CIS countries - here there is an obstacle and a price, and the lack of the necessary infrastructure for recharging a car at the right moment. In 2015, the "mass electric car" for 30 thousand dollars will be ready for mass production. Of course, it will take a long time to wait, and if the Mayans are right, then they will not be at all .

The management of the company, representing all these projects, operates with five-year and ten-year periods. For example, by 2020, Tesla's management predicts the emergence of more capacious batteries that will forget about everyday recharging of an electric vehicle. Already by 2030, representatives of Tesla promise, such batteries will be very cheap, and this will be very useful, since ordinary cars with an internal combustion engine will practically disappear from the market.

In addition to the production of cars, now Tesla Motors offers other companies battery systems. For example, in 2010, Toyota's SUV batteries will be supplied, which will be transformed into electric cars.
