2nd StartupPoint Meeting in Nizhny Novgorod
On February 11, a second meeting of StartupPoint’s startup and investor community will be held in Nizhny Novgorod, organized with the support of Business Development Group, the non-format / communication with purpose project and the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Higher School of Economics .
StartupPoint is a unique opportunity for start-ups from Nizhny Novgorod to express themselves and their project, get high-quality feedback, find investors and like-minded people, get to know and share useful experience and ideas with other participants.

The program of the event is designed so that time is allotted both for presentations of participants and discussion, and for informal communication during coffee breaks and quick acquaintances.

The first meeting of the Nizhny Novgorod startup community was held in April 2010 in the framework of the All-Russian Internet Marathon - “RIF-Nizhny Novgorod” and gathered more than 100 participants. Presentations of 10 Nizhny Novgorod start-ups were presented to the court of the meeting participants and an authoritative expert commission.
For speakers at the event, StartupPoint became the starting point for the further qualitative development of their projects. They got a lot of new ideas from the audience and the expert committee, met with other startups and potential investors.
Ilya Osipov (NN. Ru), Evgeny Pluzhnik (Moscow Business School), Mikhail Shagiev (Cisco Systems), Denis Markov (hh.ru) and other well-known professionals of the IT market took part in the work of the expert commission.
The second StartupPoint community meeting will be held with an expanded program.
During the expert session, participants will be able to discuss practical issues on the promotion of projects and their technical implementation among a diverse circle of experts.
The meeting will be held in the new building of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Higher School of Economics at Rodionov st. 136. Date of February 11, 2011, the meeting begins at 17-00. More than 100 people are expected to attend the event.
