QIP Infium: first beta

Most recently, the first test version of the new IM client from the creator of the popular QIP has been released.

The release of the test version of QIP Infium finally took place. We invite everyone to take part in testing. All errors found can be reported both on our website and on the forum in the QIP Infium section. Not everything was still realized from what we would like. So, suggestions for improvement and refinement are welcome. Since QIP Infium is a multi-protocol client, the operation of the protocols themselves can affect the operation of the main program. Therefore, please test Infium work together with all protocols, and separately. At the moment, the ICQ protocol, partially Jabber and XIMSS (SIP), is fully implemented. The last two require additional testing. The plans also support Mail.Ru Agent and other popular protocols. The test version is designed more for experienced users, so we post the distribution in the form of archives. All discussions and questions on our forum in the QIP Infium section.

Separately, using the Jabber protocol:
Now everything that relates to the transfer of messages and statuses is supported.
In the near future, private lists, full avatar support and everything related to file transfer. Support for file and sound transfer for Google Talk is also planned. Not yet planned support grupchatov.

Separately on XIMSS:
The full messaging, status, and audio protocol (G.711) provided by the Sipnet provider (www.sipnet.ru) is supported, and all functions of the SkypeMate USB phone line (www.skypemate.ru) are supported. You can register on the website www.sipnet.ru or in any Euroset showroom. In the near future: support for other audio transmission formats, including extensions in the form of ACM codecs, support for transferring files and avatars via audio connection emulation, support for SIP extensions for displaying information about the cost of calls and other technical information.
