Yesterday, on Friday (and for some of us it is the day before yesterday, right? :-)) a post about the release of the next release of Firefox 4 Beta appeared in the Mozilla blog, plus a link to download it. According to the developers, the key features of the new beta are accelerated loading of the browser, an improved bookmark system, and improved rendering of complex animation. Beta version is available for download at this
link . By the way, the developers promise to please us soon not with just another beta, even if it is “licked”, but with the final release of Mozilla Firefox 4.0.
At the moment there are already about 400 million users of this browser around the world. All these users (and I among them) will be able to get Mozilla Firefox 4.0 by the end of February 2011.

Developers have high hopes for the latest version of their browser, and one of the most important points in the list of potential achievements is an increase in browser share in the browser market. According to statistics, the greatest positive dynamics is observed in the browser from Google, which receives all new users. In Firefox, at the same time, success is not so noticeable. According to StatCounter, in October 2010, Firefox owned 31.5% of the global browser market. But according to NetApplications, everything is a bit worse - in February 2010, Firefox owned 24.23% of the browser market, but in December 2010, the same indicator was about 22.81%.
But let's leave the boring statistics, better let's listen (or rather, read) about the improvements that await us in Firefox 4.0. In addition to what has been said above, this is the acceleration of web applications, including games, thanks to the integration of the SpiderMonkey JavaScript engine from TraceMonkey and JägerMonkey JITs.
Improved, or rather, minimized the interface of the browser, which is a bit similar to the interface of Google Chrome. Firefox 4 supports a wide range of new standards, including HTML5, WebM, HD video, 3D rendering with WebGL, Mozilla Audio API.
All these "goodies" are contained in the latest beta of Firefox, so enjoy your meal!
