Unveiled the look of a Universal Electronic Card

Published the first image of the appearance of the Universal Electronic Card, which will be issued to all Russians from the age of 14 and combines an identity card, a bank card, medical insurance, certificate of mandatory pension insurance, etc.

It is possible that with the help of such a card it will be possible even to vote in elections via the Internet, by purchasing a personal card reader ( as in Estonia ) or from any terminal.



The published design is exemplary, now it is being approved by the government of the Russian Federation. Issue cards will start January 1, 2012.
