FOSS Lviv 2011 and Dragobrat Winter FOSS Fest 2011

From February 1 to February 2, 2011, the official part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “FOSS Lviv 2011” will be held at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The main areas of her work: free software in education, free software in science, free software in business, free software at home.

The informal part of the conference called Dragobrat Winter FOSS Fest 2011 will take place from 3 to 6 February in the ski resort Dragobrat, which is located at an altitude of 1400 m and is located at the foot of the Stog mountain (1707 m) in the area of ​​the Blyznitsa massif (1883 m). As part of the Fest, an informal visiting section of the FOSS Lviv 2011 conference will take place; guests will enjoy various activities, a healthy and enjoyable holiday in the mountains. Among the planned activities can be distinguished: a school for beginners and snowboarders, freeride tours for experienced snowboarders and skiers, and of course an unforgettable party with night descents;)

Registration fee Dragobrat Winter FOSS Fest 2011 - 1400 UAH. (expenses for transfar, housing, full two meals a day + afternoon snack at the “kuryatne”, ski insurance, organization and holding of the on-site section, parties, etc.). Additionally, you will need money for lifts (on average - 8 UAH per lift) and, if necessary, rental equipment (50-120 UAH per day).
