Vimeo opens video school

Video hosting Vimeo launched Video School , a set of short training films designed to help non-professionals improve the quality of their videos.

" Video School " consists of more than 800 video lessons and tutorials, covering various aspects of video production, from preparation for shooting, selection of equipment and installation of light to the final installation of video and sound.

The basic series of " Video 101 ", created by the Vimeo team, covers the five basic steps in creating a film, including choosing the right video camera, basic shooting rules, and simple editing methods.

There is also a series of " DSLR Basics ", created in conjunction with Philip Bloom, a well-known operator who tells how to use digital SLR cameras.
