Adding the ability to sort by rating in the search

Can I only have such a problem?

I suddenly remembered here about a topic dedicated to computer tables, which I read some time ago - and it seemed interesting to me (I wanted to throw a link to a friend). I, of course, found it, here it is habrahabr.ru/blogs/design/97393/#comments
But that's the problem. The request was "computer desk". For some reason, the most adequate topic (which I just read) was on the 3rd search page. For some reason, the habrahabr.ru/blogs/edu_2_0/111476 topic was not on the first line at the request of the “computer desk”, which is not particularly on the subject even (to put it mildly).

So - quite often I remember, some interesting topic, I am looking for and figs there - very rarely can I find what I need from the first time at least on the first page. Usually topics appear somewhere in the middle of search results. I think this is a common problem of search in Habré.

So the question is - what am I doing wrong? It seems to me that the search on Habré does not work very well?
Suggestion how to improve the situation - to make it possible to search with sorting by rating, it seems to me that it will simplify life when searching.
