ECoupled company offers chargers for mobile devices and electric vehicles.

In fact, this company has created quite effective wireless chargers that are suitable for charging everything - from mobile phones and laptops to the Tesla Roadster. Well, as for the latter, I personally have nothing to charge, but wireless charging for a cellular or laptop would be quite useful. By the way, now there are quite a lot of any wireless charges, both concepts and real devices, but devices from eCoupled seem to be more efficient.

Wireless charging uses the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction to transfer energy, so there is nothing new here. But the technology developed by eCoupled allows wireless chargers to be almost as efficient as wired - only 10% of energy is lost during signal transmission. Of course, for now this is only a statement from the manufacturer, but the testing of wireless charges by independent experts, who have confirmed the statement of the company's representatives, has already been carried out.

True, to use eCoupled charging, you will have to build a miniature reel into each of the devices manufacturers want to make compatible with eCoupled equipment, but it’s really worth it. In any case, the demonstration of technology on the example of Tesla Roadster, arranged by the developer, impressed many. There really is a 90% efficiency of the wireless charger compared to traditional wires. And of course, it wasn’t without an iPhone - the Tesla Roadster charging process was controlled by an application developed for the Apple device.

According to the eCoupled guys, the cost of installing a wireless energy receiver in a car or device is comparable to the cost of installing a standard charging station, so the benefit is obvious. Of course, the introduction of new technology will take some time, but the relatively low cost of its implementation may speed up this process. In any case, the potential of eCoupled technology really is.
