After reading the title, many will think - "This has long been there, dark examples." However, the proposed idea of a startup is not at all in organizing an online video viewing service, of which there are actually a great many now. The idea is different.
Everyone loves cinemas. For what? For the big screen, for the surround sound, for the smell of hot popcorn. But the most important thing here is society. Screen and sound and at home now you can get no worse. We never go to the cinema alone, we go company. Even despite the fact that in cinemas it is customary to observe silence, we somehow try to spend this time in communication. We whisper commenting on the situation on the screen, laugh, turn to each other. We observe each other - for the reaction, for the movements. This all makes going to the movies so attractive.

Now, an average modern person has little time for leisure, and he does not get to go to real cinemas as often as we would like. For such people, and need such a service.
As I see it. Let a group of familiar people registered on this service. One of them creates a film show (selects a film, quality, time) and invites his friends here. They either agree or refuse. If they agree, then at the appointed time, having turned on the service, they get into a virtual cinema for a virtual film show with their friends. It may look like a chat, like a video broadcast (with sound). They all watch the same movie and experience the same emotions and feelings, as if they are together in a real cinema.
It is not necessary for someone to choose a movie. These can be real films that are currently going to the cinema, shown on some general schedule. Then in the "hall" I can be completely targeted people.
You can invite girls to the movies :) (sarcasm)
So. I think this would be great to implement on the basis of VKontakte. All your friends and acquaintances are already there, and there is more than enough video content.
Something like this. I didn’t dig much, maybe it already exists, I will be glad to hear about such services.
UPD If you broadcast the same films there as in real cinemas, you can sell real tickets at a comparable price of course;)
