Recently, such a beast fell into my hands. New mouse from Microsoft - Arc Touch. It is interesting that instead of the central scroll wheel there is a touchback with reverse feedback.
Compare the old and new model

The new model is significantly different from the previous one (Arc Mouse). First of all, the part on which the palm lies is made of matte plastic, pleasant to the touch.
To turn off the Arc Mouse mouse, it had to be folded.

Mouse Arc Touch, on the contrary you need to straighten

')
IMHO, quite an interesting solution, and when folded / opened there is a click.
Buns

As I said, instead of the wheel, the touch panel is now located and when moving along it, as when the wheel is scrolling, there is a “kickback”. It is difficult to say what it creates - it does not look like a vibromotor, because the whole mouse does not vibrate, but something clicks from the inside right on the touch panel and these clicks are audible, as if I am twisting this wheel, by the way the recoil force is programmatically adjusted.

In addition to the usual scrolling, there are several modes:
- If you poke into the touch from the top or bottom edge, you can move to the page up or down
- If you sharply hold on the wheel, you can scroll through the entire document to the beginning or end
- Double "click" on the tachu works like a click on a regular wheel
- Double “click” and hold on the tache works like pressing a regular wheel and holding it
These are standard settings, but with the help of the program you can customize the operation of the wheelbarrow and the rest of the buttons for each individual program.

The mouse buttons are made of glossy plastic, the “minus” is that fingerprints remain.
Other
The thickness of the mouse in the thinnest part is ~ 6 mm, in the thickest ~ 14 mm.

For comparison: on top of the usual wired mouse from Logitech.

In working order.
Conclusion
I use the mouse the second day, the impressions are positive. Of course you need to get used to a little more, including the tachu. But on the whole, I like the device very much, both in design and in functionality.
We have this mouse seems to be already sold in the White Wind for 3500 p. But I brought it from London, where it costs 70 pounds minus 14 pounds. TaxFree, i.e. final price of 56 pounds.
My first topic is “review” and the first topic in the New Year, I will be glad to comment.
Good luck to all!
