Users really like music without DRM. This thesis is confirmed by the fact that sales of EMI music on iTunes have increased since the tracks became “free” from DRM. For example, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album sales grew by 350%.
The agreement of EMI and Apple that the music will be sold without DRM-restrictions was concluded in April of this year. Soon the record label plans to expand this practice to other online stores, Amazon and PassAlong Networks.
