In the near future, 3D food printers can cook festive dishes.

It is clear that such a printer does not “print” a duck baked with apples, but a printer is quite capable of creating a lot of sweets, including cakes, pies and other goodies. In principle, such printers were previously created as an experiment, being not particularly practical and prohibitively expensive, but scientists from Cornell University (New York) promise to change the situation for the better. So, now experts from this university are working on technology that will allow a real revolution in the process of cooking. It is quite possible, according to the developers of such printers, that preparing a complex cake will soon be as easy as sending an e-mail.

Ideally, we will not need to engage in mixing the ingredients for any creams or sauces, it is enough to set the program for the printer, and after a while the snack will be ready. In addition to the composition, it will be possible to vary the density of the dish, some taste qualities and much more.

In addition, if necessary, the printer will be able to "print" and the necessary kitchenware at the moment. It is clear that not a frying pan, for example, but a heat-resistant spatula or a cutting board - completely. Of course, so far it is completely incomprehensible how the process of creating utensils will take place, but scientists say that this is not so unbelievable as it seems to us.

Some developments have already been tried out in his restaurant, Khomaro Kant, the owner of the Moto Restaurant from Chicago. He says that even the advanced 3D food printer models are impressive. Unfortunately, he didn’t say anything about where to get “ink” for the printer - either they would be created by separate companies, or the printer itself would do this, representing something like a super-functional food processor at the entrance.

In general, there is a lot of incomprehensible things with these food printers, but, one may think, the developers are not just talking about their achievements. In the end, there are already the first devices that work, it's a pity there are photos, but there is no video.
