Skype Malfunctions - Clarification
Here is a quick explanation from Skype regarding what happened yesterday.
Yesterday, we noticed that the number of online users suddenly began to decline, and we began to understand what was happening.
Skype does not look like a regular telephone network or the IM network, since it relies on millions of individual connections between computers and phones. Some of these computers act as "super-sites" (supernodes, supernodes) and are something like Skype telephone directories.
