Three months later, as we launched
the HTML5 games contest at Spil Games, we can see significant improvements in the quality of submissions. I will use the first post for the announcement of the winners of the November stage of the competition.

Background: in September we launched the HTML5 games contest for our mobile gaming portals (including
m.flashgames.ru ,
m.agame.com and 20+ others). Every month we give $ 7,700 to the best submissions made through
html5contest.com .
')
Why HTML5? Take an iPad / iPhone / Android, enter agame.com. Users of these devices automatically get on mobile versions of portals, where they can instantly play HTML5 games.
At the moment, this is the only solution for browser games on mobile devices that works on both androids and iOS.
So, the results of the competition for November : (under the cut)
(links lead to playable versions)

First Prize: SnowboundIf you are on the road, you’ll find out how to do it. HTML5 can not be wondered with the result!

Second Prize: Wizard Wars
Wizard wars, as much as possible. It is easy to learn how to play it.

Third Prize: Save the WorldSave the World. This is a HTML5 games can offer.
Many will now clearly ask themselves the question “why do I need this if there is an app?” And this is a very fair question.
As an example of an average user of our sites, I’ll take my aunt over 50. She plays a bubble hit on
ourgames.ru . What is an app store - she does not know and does not even want to know. Accordingly, she never installed applications / programs on her computer in her life.
Gave her an iPad. She goes to her favorite site, and there she immediately finds her favorite game and plays it in the mobile version. And even if this toy were available free of charge in the app store, the threshold for a casual user is too great.
First of all, next year I will write about the results of the December competition.
