More and more large IT companies began to hold contests on programming in order to recruit new employees - IBM, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Yandex, ... Recently, eBay was added to their number.
The
eBay company together with
yodacode holds a contest lasting for a month in order to find new talents.

Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, there are only 2 weeks left from this month. The contest started on December 6th and will run until January 6th. But that's okay - the tasks are not so complicated as to solve them for a whole month.
To solve the proposed 9 tasks. All tasks are divided into levels: 2 tasks of the easy level (100 points each), 3 tasks of the novice level (400 points each), 3 tasks of the medium level (900 points each) and one task of the expert level (2500 points). The number of points awarded for the decision depends on the speed of your program. All tasks, except for the task of the expert level, are quite simple - an experienced Olympian solves 10-15 minutes. The task of the expert level has so far been solved by only one user - LinesPrower (judging by the profile from Russia).
In order for eBay to pay attention to you, you need to fill out your profile, solve as many tasks as possible and comment all your code. You can solve problems in Java, C / C ++, PHP and JavaScript. The same problem can be solved in several languages - in this case, the number of points will be summed up, but it cannot exceed 150% of the maximum (for example, by solving a novice level problem in one language, you can get a maximum of 400 points, in several languages - 600) .
On January 6, an iPad will be played on the site among all users who have solved at least one task. The chance to win an iPad is directly dependent on the amount of points that you collect at the time of the draw. For example, a person who scores 20,000 points is 100 times more likely to get an iPad than a user who scores 200 points.
Also on the site there is an opportunity to win iPod Nano - it will be played in the same way among those who invite as many people as possible to
yodacode . It is for this reason that all references to
yodacode in this post are referral :)
Good luck!
