For “remote” students will be monitored using webcams

Troy State University (Alabama, USA), whose 11,000 students will take exams via the Internet, plans to establish observation of the subjects. This will be done with the help of webcams and software, which during the exam will block the computer and hinder the student’s access to all search engines and online libraries. In addition, the subjects' computers are planned to be equipped with a fingerprint scanner, so that instead of students, someone else does not sit down to answer.

At the same time, the camera records audio and video, but system developers acknowledge that such measures may be ineffective against a trained student scammer.
