BenQ changes brand to Qisda

BenQ intends to change its English name to Qisda. The new name will denote the expression “quality innovation speed driving and achievements”. Last week, the company announced its intention to change also the Chinese name of the company - from Jia Da to Jias Da. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2007. The company hopes that it will help to cope with losses and make the next year profitable, reports DigiTimes.
