Mercedes-Benz today announced the start of testing a new type of car, called the F-cell, which runs on hydrogen. In this case, the "hydrogen" car boasts an extended mileage on one "charge" of fuel. Testing is currently being conducted in California, USA. The number of finished cars that will be tested is 200 copies.
According to the company, now one of the cars is already being tested, let's hope for a successful test outcome. Around Friday, Mercedes-Benz announced the first photos of the new car model, all of these photos are available in the company's account on Facebook.

The car that runs on hydrogen has a rather impressive configuration. For example, an engine with a capacity of 134 horsepower, which allows a car to travel 386 kilometers on one "breath", that is, on one charge. Quite well, you should agree - not many electric vehicles are able to drive this distance on one battery charge.
Like electromobiles, hydrogen-powered cars practically do not pollute the environment; we all know which products are produced by the combustion of hydrogen. It is worth noting that in the United States the cost of hydrogen, subject to its mass distribution, will be about $ 6 per kilogram. According to the company’s management, a car will require $ 20 fuel for a full mileage.
Experts believe that the cost of hydrogen can significantly decrease if hydrogen cars really become common.
