Review of free lancer fees

The site for searching remote work Free-lance.ru conducted a study of fees of free-lancers. The results are published today in the newspaper "Kommersant".
As it turned out, the average monthly earnings of free-lancers are 44,000 rubles. At the same time, the average salary in Russia is 20,000 rubles.

It is also worth noting that among the mobile devices from which free-lancers go to the site Free-lance.ru, the iPad leads, followed by the iPhone.
Now there is every opportunity to make good money in RuNet, not working in the staff of any company: 31,000 projects are published monthly on Free-lance.ru , the average project cost is 20,000 rubles. At the same time, only 30% of the audience is Muscovites, and 70% are free-lancers from regions where prices and wages are much lower than in the capital, and the unemployment rate is higher.
Best of all earn free-lance programmers and web-developers. Free-Lance is also very popular among copywriters, designers and translators, but their fees are lower.

In many ways, the fact that free-lancers earn twice as much as the Russians, on average, is explained by the fact that their level of education is much higher than all-Russian indicators. 55% of free-lancers and only 26% of working Russians have a higher education or a degree. And if you take into account incomplete higher education, the differences become even greater. It is curious that the most educated are housewives sitting at home with small children: among them, 63% have a higher education, 11% have two or more higher and 2% have a scientific degree.

In addition, free-lancers are very ambitious. 39% of all respondents plan to become entrepreneurs. The majority (44%) in 5 years plan to combine free-lance with another job. Only 9% want to work only free-lancers. And only about 5% are ready to turn into office workers.
The Russian market of free-lance is growing every year by 100%, and the number of users looking for remote work on the Internet is only 4-5 times less than the number of Russians searching for full-time work on job sites.
The study involved 8,895 free lancers.
