The amount of $ 2.5 billion generated from the sales of both parts of Toy Story, Flick Adventures, Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo made Pixar the most successful animation studio of all time since its existence.
Finding Nemo, the latest movie listed on this list, Pixar released in 2003. The fifth film remained the highest-grossing (and profitable) film of the studio until 2010. Charges from subsequent films were not so large, and the growing production budgets made them less profitable. In 2005, DreamWorks Animation - the main competitor of Pixar - bypassed their fees, and in 2007 by profit.
Since 2007, Pixar is no longer the most commercially successful animation studio. ')
Next will be a proof with a set of numbers.

Comparison of profit over time (fees minus budget):
PS The third “Toy Story”, released in 2010, collected more than $ 1 billion, became the highest grossing animated film in history, set a new record, etc. But. Three DreamWorks films, released in the same 2010, raised $ 1.7 billion.
