As many of you know, the first Oversana data center, Oversan-Mercury, was officially put into operation at the beginning of 2010. Some time ago, the launch of the second, smaller and budget data center - Oversan-Luna.
The data center "Oversan-Luna" is located near the "Oversan-Mercury", seven hundred meters away, in a departmental protected area. The data center’s power supply is 500 kW, a reliable N + N power backup scheme provides the Oversun-Lune with a completely independent, reserved power supply from two substations in different districts of Moscow. "Oversan-Luna" is designed to accommodate up to 50 racks of power to 6 kW. All traffic from Oversan-Luna passes through the network core of Oversana, located in the data center Oversan-Mercury. The total capacity of the core is more than 400 Gbit / s, and the current volume of connectivity with Internet operators at the M9 and M10 sites is 74 Gbit / s.
Oversun-Luna clients are offered accommodation in units, rack rental, 100 Mbit / s or 1 Gbit / s network channels, and for customers who already use Oversana services, discounts and special offers are possible. Prices in the "Moon" are very different from the prices of "Oversan-Mercury" in the smaller direction, and in general, as it seemed to us, they are lower than the average for the market.
Yes, and also: now Oversan is holding a
rally in honor of the opening of the second data center : buying Oversan-Luna services until January 31st, 2011, you will receive Internet bandwidth with unlimited traffic for free for several months.
