Opera Extensions - Let Everyone Know

In connection with yesterday’s release of the final release of Opera 11 , one of the most popular features of which are extensions, we decided to hold a contest for those who cannot create extensions, but are quite able to talk about them in exciting blogs and articles on various resources.

The rules are simple, as always:

- Articles should be interesting, literate in every sense;
- Code samples, screenshots and other visual aids are very welcome.

What do you get in return:

- The winner is awarded a certificate for 200 USD for “purchasing” in the online store;
- “Certificate of Honor” with the autograph of the co-founder of the company, Jon von Tachner;
- Interview on My Opera for a multimillion audience;
- A bag with gifts from Opera Software.

For the second and third places, the winner’s certificate is presented (see paragraph two above) and, again, gifts (point four).

How to do it

Find the extension you like in the extensions directory and write an article about it. Everything is very simple. In order to compete for the prizes, tell us about your article as follows:

- Via Twitter, posting a link to the article and adding a hash tag #extensions
- By posting a link to the article in the comments to the announcement of the competition

Tips

You can send any number of articles to the competition. But remember that people under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate in the competition.

Dates

The competition starts on December 16, 2010 and ends on December 31 of the same year. Winners will be announced in January 2011.
