Two months ago, we started introducing our habrayers to our SaaS service for collecting and managing reviews. In the time since the writing of the first article , we have grown significantly.

At the moment, we are already using 1,569 projects of 33,778 people left 11,492 ideas and 231,276 votes.

Many users have been received from habrapovich. We want to note that most of them were taken into account and executed. Now we would like to share with you our successes and brief information on how the service is developing.

New widget

In addition to changing the design of the widget, we took into account the comments of our users on our previous article. Now you can search for similar ideas and leave feedback directly from the widget, without going to the support forum. In addition, you can immediately vote for an interesting idea without leaving the widget.

Random feedback types

Now you can not be limited to a standard set of types of reviews (ideas, errors, questions and thanks), but you can start arbitrary types of reviews. If the standard does not suit you, you can simply remove or rename them. For each type of reviews, you can attach your own icon. Flexible access rights

Now you can customize access rights in various combinations for each of the representatives of the project. So, for example, you can configure the project representative, who in fact will be only a moderator. Or give only the right to make payments for the project (something like an accountant's rights).

Improved comments

We added the ability to leave comments attached and vote for comments from other users. In addition, the administrator can highlight the best comments, thereby attaching them to the top of the page, immediately after the official response.

Ability to create polls

In each review now the administrator has the opportunity to create a vote. Moreover, each voting point is essentially a comment from the same review and, together with nested comments (the previous paragraph), this makes it possible to discuss each voting option. Single Sign-On

The function of tighter integration of the authorization system of your project with UserEcho authorization, which allows your users to log into UserEcho without additional registration using the current user name in your project.

Redesign right side

We are constantly changing something for usability, experimenting, looking for the right options for implementation. Here is an example of how our right panel has changed lately.
1. Added the ability to sign up for activity alerts in reviews.
2. The logo zone is made adaptable to the logo. This allowed to save some of the space in height.
3. Made icons for all menu items.
4. Considering that the sharing takes up too much space, turned it into one link. Interestingly, this has reduced the space occupied, but led to the fact that users have become much less use of this function. Therefore, it was decided to make a compromise option, marked by the number five (5). Several icons for sharing brought in a row, and the rest left minimized. As a result, the frequency of using the function has remained the same and we have received a more compact version of the display with enhanced functionality.

What will happen in the near future

We are introducing a user rating, some work in this direction has already been completed. Now we are selecting a formula for the correct calculation of the rating, a page of active users will appear, project owners will be able to see the best and reward them for their activity.
