Die, but pay the debt to Megaphone: is there a dispute?

Topic " Die, but pay the debt Megaphone! »It turned out almost holivarny, with a large number of comments.
if we discard the lyrics, two ideas can be traced:
1) The user is responsible for his actions and nobody deceives anyone.
2) "Punishment" for an error is not adequately error.
But the fact is that both statements are true and do not contradict each other. The only question is who should care so that the “stupid” user cannot harm himself too much? So, the correct answer to this question is the state, and not a “megaphone” at all.
For example, there is a labor code, and employers provide a certain minimum of security even to an employee who has not read his employment contract. And it is right.
In Europe, they passed the law “ bill shock protection ” - according to which operators are obliged to turn off the service when the limit is passed (by default - 50 Euro), at the same time limiting the price for a megabyte to 1 Euro.
And by the way, this was done after multiple stories like this one - civilized European and American operators also did not consider it their duty to spread straws to customers until they were forced.

UPD: this is a separate topic, and not a comment to the source because I am not about Megaphone, “interns” and Greece, but about the fact that business affecting the entire population must be regulated by the state so that a person cannot harm himself so much by his own stupidity.
I respect those who drove my karma into a minus, but leave the topic - as the topic itself is positively rated
