A contest for Qt-application developers has been announced.Nokia announces a contest for developers for the best Russified application for Symbian and MeeGo platforms, created using the Qt toolkit. The competition is held within the framework of FRUCT - a university cooperation community actively supported by Nokia in Russia. The prize for the first place will be
100,000 rubles, for the second -
60,000 rubles and
40,000 rubles for the third place. Entries are accepted
until February 28, 2011.If you are going to participate, then share ideas and thoughts about this in comments. It is very interesting to know the opinion of potential participants.
Any Russian developer will be able to take part in the competition. Moreover, several applications from one developer or group can be submitted for consideration, in which case applications will be considered independently of each other. The main conditions for participation: applications must be developed in Qt, localized under the Russian language and have a Russian-language interface, as well as published in the Ovi Store.
Entries will be judged by a jury composed of industry experts and representatives from the FRUCT community. Winners will be announced on March 15, 2011.
