LibreOffice 3.3 RC1

The Document Foundation announced the release of the first release candidate (RC1) of LibreOffice 3.3, a free, open source office suite.

LibreOffice is a fork of the OpenOffice.org office suite, created after Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems.

In the next version of Ubuntu, the LibreOffice package is expected to replace OpenOffice.
