The Chinese have another reason to say “Google, do not be Evil”, because the ability to display the page cache has been removed in the
Chinese version of Google . A little earlier, on April 26 of this year, the “Cached” link was already excluded, however, the Google office in China claimed that the ability to view the cache would return after the system was improved.
To follow censorship on the web, it’s not news that Google’s cache of web pages is very often blocked for Chinese users thanks to the state’s internet providers. However, now the main search engine is responsible for deleting the “Cached” link.

Most likely, the Ministry of Information of China contributed to the removal of the ability to view the page cache. By controlling the internal Internet providers, the government gains indirect control over Google’s capabilities in order to protect its citizens from broken links.
In general, the Chinese government met Google not very hospitably - in addition to blocking some of the features of Google, they did not issue their own ICP number to the search engine (Google now works under the ICP license of its partner Ganji.com).
It is also worth noting that, in addition to Google Search, Google Books, Google News, Google Maps and Google Images are subject to partial censorship.
