Start MeeGo in Russia
Yesterday a live press conference on the launch of the MeeGo operating system was held on the Dozhd TV channel. Thus, MeeGo officially came to Russia - the first Russified devices based on a new operating system, specially adapted to Russian conditions, appeared on the market.

After the official part, several netbooks and nettops based on the new operating system were played out - both among the guests who came, and among the participants of the twitter quiz. Then everything wandered around the studio, studying the devices provided by the partners.
I also had the opportunity to "poke" into the prototype of the phone on MeeGo. I will not lie - inside is still damp, but overall very good. A plastic case (something similar to the Galaxy S), a large screen diagonal, a few buttons and connectors on the sides ... I can’t say more - if you can use the “doped” version for a while, then there will be something to talk about.
