Duplication of payment in Alfa-Bank
11/25/2010 I used to pay with a card for products in one of the supermarkets.
Today at Alfa-Click, I noticed that the same amount was withdrawn 2 times. Moreover, all the data of these payments are the same.
Immediately called the bank support service. They replied that there were double withdrawals on 02.12.2010 for those who paid with a card in retail outlets. And that money will be returned on Monday , i.e. 12/06/2010.
As far as I understood, the mistake didn’t touch those who had a payment on the card yesterday (Hold money), but only those from whom the money was withdrawn yesterday after Hold.
Check your bills.
UPD: In the comments they write that the problem is not only with Alfa-Bank. It seems that customers of the outlets serviced by Sberbank have been hit.
