Good day to all Residents of Habr.
Rarely I write something, but here an interesting case turned out.
For the past 2 years I already have an account on Gmail which I use constantly and once every 2-3 months I have a more complicated password.
Then one day, sitting at night searching for something new on the Internet in ICQ, it was reported that I can easily t hack any mailbox on any servers + even gmail is broken.
Having copied with the author of this message, I found out that he could make a hack for my mailbox in 24 hours, and in confirmation of this he will send me a letter to any my specified address.
')
Being curious, I ordered his hack, after changing the password for a longer one and in different layouts + numbers.
A week later I received a notice from the hacking author that everything was done.
I asked to send confirmation to mail.ru
Having logged in today to my gmail account, I saw an email on mail.ru in my inbox (because I have been configured to send mail)
in the outbox on gmail there is a letter sent to me on mail.ru
Now the question. How is this possible if I have a password of the form: DfczkbpfV175194138 (i.e. Russian letters with English letters + a bunch of numbers not related to each other)
https mode is enabled
ps Question was resolved. it turns out was sending with webmailer.ru
And gmail, without suspecting anything, lays out the letters in folders sent and received as if it were your own.
When auto-collecting mail, Google lays out everything in folders
