Adobe announced a beta version of Flash Player 10.2 yesterday
We’re happy to announce that Flash Player 10.2 beta release for Windows, Mac, and Linux is now available for download at Adobe Labs. Flash Player 10.2 beta has received many improvements including Stage Video and the new API, which provides best-in-class high-performance video playback on various platforms.
The good news is that beta version 10.2 was released not only for Windows, and Mac and Linux were not forgotten (there was usually a release for them later), but Windows did get one advantage: Added tight integration with Internet Explorer 9, which, like Flash Player, uses hardware acceleration, which allows them to work even faster together.
Also worth noting is support for full-screen mode with multiple monitors: Full-screen content will remain full-screen on secondary monitors, allowing users to watch it while working on another display. ')
