Multitvittering, statistics, convenience, scheduled posting and all that CoTweet

Talk about the growing popularity of Twitter in Russia is not necessary. And this situation is not only in Russia, but throughout the world. What can we say, if newspapers and magazines write about twitter, show on TV, print in magazines. Even our usually incorruptible state officials attacked to promote tweeter so diligently that, willy-nilly, something was amiss is suspected.

On the wave of universal popularity and unheard of growth, programmers diligently and quickly write all kinds of programs for convenient work on Twitter. This situation is observed on any more or less used platform. Be it Mac OS, Win, Linux, Android, iOS, etc. More and more different ratings appear, services for photos, reducing urls, tweeter backgrounds settings, multitvittering (the ability to tweet from different accounts) and much more. In general, Twitter is growing and developing is simply unrealistic.

I want to describe and present a very convenient web service for effective work on Twitter. Called CoTweet . The main purpose is the ability to write to Twitter from different accounts of the Twitter itself and provide access to the account (s) of Twitter to other people (according to those whom we trust to write on our own behalf, or on behalf of the company). Obviously, the service is most interesting for companies and organizations, but CoTweet is very much used by me for personal purposes.

So, the service interface consists of three columns. On the left, the selection of the tapes you’ve watched: the friends feed, mentions, personal messages, lists, search, and the number of foolowers. The central column is the actual tape itself and it displays what I chose in the left column. The right column, so to speak service. There you can view information about any user, information about clicks on shortened links (not only their own, but in general). Well it is, in short. Let's take a closer look.

Column selection of tapes and search. There are Inbox and Outbox, incoming / outgoing respectively. In the Inbox, we see Messages (messages) that consist of Direct Messages, Twitter, Public Replies to my tweets (Replies) and Mentions in other users' tapes. Also in the Inbox there is a tape of all users for which I follow (Friends' Updates). The Outbox contains all my replies to other tweets, retweets, and sent private messages.

In the central column all tweets are displayed according to the selected section. Tweets are divided in the form of blocks, each of which can be selected and thus made “active”. This is necessary in order to control from the keyboard. I note that this is done simply mega-convenient. The main keyboard shortcuts are r - reply, d - direct message, t - retweet, p - profile, ctr + p - send. Navigate tweets with the up and down keys. One ambush, all my shortcuts do not work on the Russian layout. Not so critical, since the main time is in Latin, but still unpleasant.

On the left, you can view the profile of the selected user. Almost all information is available. Our relationship, i.e. I follow him or he (and so for all my accounts), the number of his tweets, our last communication (if any), my notes about this tweeter. If you click on the special mark in the tweet of the central column, you can see the statistics of the short link, who came from and how many times - a very convenient thing. Unfortunately, not all URLs are supported.

It was a description of the form, all screenshots are clickable and you can consider all the details of the described interface in detail. I really liked the view, conveniently done. In my opinion, even more convenient than the new interface of the Twitter itself.
In the Settings (Settings), you can change your e-mail, time zone, skin (skins) of the service itself (so far only two). Also, the settings control the main advantage of CoTweet: adding / deleting twitter accounts and providing general access, as well as delimiting the rights to write for other CoTweet users.

In order to provide access to another user, it is necessary that he already has an account in CoTweet. After entering his email you will be able to manage the rights if he doesn’t have such a user, he will be sent an invitation to his mail.

In my opinion, the service will wipe the nose with many desktop applications. Of the minuses, I noticed only the lack of Russian (Cyrillic works fine) in the interface and unwillingness to work with shortcuts when the Cyrillic keyboard layout is enabled. The advantages are many times greater than the disadvantages, so use and be effective.

PS: What I have described is only the tip of the iceberg. Service can do much more: create reports, translate tweets, export data. If I all described the note would be many times more and unreadable.
